Welcome to IFT 203 — Introduction to Web Technologies. Whether you want to build the next Nigerian e-commerce platform, create a portfolio that lands you a job at a Lagos tech company, or simply understand the websites you visit every day, this course gives you the foundations to make it happen.
The internet has transformed Nigeria dramatically. From Jumia and Konga changing how Nigerians shop, to Flutterwave and Paystack powering payments, to IREP, Nairametrics, and Pulse.ng delivering news — every one of these platforms was built using exactly the technologies you will learn in this course: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

No prior programming experience is required for this course.
All you need is a text editor (VS Code — free), a web browser (Chrome or Firefox), and curiosity.
