MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION TO CHEMISTRY

MODULE 2: DEVELOPMENT OF THE PERIODIC TABLE
· History of the periodic table
· Features of the modern periodic table (Groups and Periods)
· The different classifications of the periodic table
· Understanding electronic configurations
· Periodic trends (Atomic radius, Ionisation energy, Electron affinity, Electronegativity, Metallic properties, etc.)
MODULE 3: STOICHIOMETRY AND CHEMICAL REACTIONS
· Chemical Equations (Writing and balancing chemical equations)
· Types of Chemical reactions
· Stoichiometry (Stoichiometric calculations)
· Rates of Reactions: Factors affecting reaction rates, rate laws and order of reactions.
