Course Objectives

The objectives are to:

  1. Develop practical competencies in therapeutic exercises.
  2. Enhance skills in motor skill analysis and correction.
  3. Introduce techniques for joint mobilization and spinal manipulation.
  4. Foster skills in gait training using assistive devices.

Module 1: Therapeutic Exercise

  • Instruction and progression in exercise programs.

Module 2: Motor Skills and Gait Analysis

  • Motor skills analysis for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Identification and correction of abnormal gait and other motor skills.

Module 3: Assistive Devices

  • Techniques for instructing and training patients in crutch gaits.

Module 4: Massage and Joint Mobilization

  • Massage manipulations for different body parts and conditions.
  • Mobilization techniques for major peripheral joints.

Module 5: Spinal Manipulation

  • Techniques and principles of spinal manipulations.
